We Do Understand! Don't We?

         Take a minute to stop and feel how hot or how cold the day is. Temperature and climate are being so unpredictable lately. These days, weather forecast isn't so accurate anymore, rain might happen 4-6 days in week and so does the hot day that reach up to 40°C! One thing that we, the humans always(but most of the time pretend not to) realise that this thing appeared to be our faults.

         If we look back 30 years from now, we could compare and find a huge difference between Indonesia's ecological situation now and then. In late 1980s, Indonesia's natural environment was still one of the greenest and titled the 'Zamrud Khatulistiwa' for its density of the rainforests. Virgin forests and bare lands hadn't been illegaly logged and built with housing and skyscrapers, a day didn't feel so hot and of course pollution didn't seem to struck and 'colonized' our lands and the atmosphere as it is now.

         Let's see what we've done to our environment. All of our irresponsibilities and ambitions of lust have just made the condition upside down. Population explode cause the crises of bare lands and a rapid increase in pollution numbers. Illegal logging causes more environmental disaster; floods,landslides,etc. All the actions to fulfil self needs and greeds are ahead and considered more important than the responsibility to keep our forests, our air, our water, our environment.

         It's Just right now humans are able to easily pretend to forget the duty to take care of our earth. The publication and application of warnings and law to protect the forests, energy savings, pollution dangers are far from what we would expected. Government should be more strict in laws and and penalties. Fines and penitentiary arrest should be applied to all the rules tresspassers without looking at any castes or social statuses. If we do understand what we are capable of, of course we do understand what to do with our responsibilities, don't we?

A Chance.

       He is that kind of introvert, one that wasted his cum-laude passing grade on a standard paying job. Missing his chances on being in front of the computer all day long and hearing all those swore words on the phone. Being shouted and intimidated for deadline and still keeping all the hatred and anger overwhelming inside him all by himself. And in the afternoon, going back home to his small flat wishing for any chances not to be noticed by the landlady and her unending terror of 3 months late payment. Has always been this way for every next day of his life.
        It was an another after hours on friday and as usual he sat on the corner of the coffee shop, ordered a glass of cappucino and stared outside the window. The only time he could enjoy, an escape for 7 days of stressful life.
       "Hey, mind i sit here?! the place is crowded...i couldn't find any table at the moment." said a blonde woman with a red sweater and a bag rounded over her shoulder to her waist.
       "Hmm...ok." he replied.
       "Thanks!"
       She put off her sweater, sat opposing him, called the waitress and ordered a hot tea.
       "Another heavy rain this week, ha?!"
       "Hmmm..."
       "So unpredictable, isn't it?" she replied.
       He glanced at her. "Simple and attractive." he thought.
       "By the way..i'm Lo,..Lois"
       "Jamie."
       "A coffee routine?" she asked.
       "Ya, kinda.."
       "An escape for a stressing work hours?"
       "A great escape for stressing life actually!....hahaha"
     
        They talked for long, leaving all the awkwardness behind. Soon her smile distracted his mind for a while far from his numb world. She appeared to be an independent woman. Worked 28 hours a week as a piano teacher, who paid her full music major tuition fee and fulfilled her daily needs all by herself. Leaving her parents miles away backhome in search for a better path to chase her dream to be a solo concert piano player.
        Hours passed. A Long chat had brought them laugh, empty glasses and subsided rain. She glanced at her watch then stared outside the window for a moment.
       "I gotta go now!" she said
       "By the way nice to meet you Jamie!"
       "My pleasure,..haha."he replied.
       She left some dollars on the table as lifted her bag again and walked away from the table.
       "I forget something..."he thought
       "Oo...number!"
       He turned his sight to the door, looking for that face again, but the only thing that he found was her shadows faded away with the swing of the door.
       "What a missed Jamie..."he thought as laughing inside.
       He went home to his apartment and slept well that night. Friday of the week after and every next friday he still do his coffee routine as usual and sometimes when it rains, he just stared outside the window hoping for any chances the raindrops will bring her smile once again (The man who can't be moved.)

i'm C-sar and i'm stuborn as well as absurd!

just an ordinary(read:extra) teenager that proud to be Indonesian.

Well, i've been running this blog since 1200 secs ago.

and had no idea of how to start it.

fyi, i'll be using this blog mostly to post english subject writings, so this might be helpful for you (hopely) but i'm sure that i will post some great stuffs and infos found interesting (trending topics these days).

Social media has been  a new trending 'hobby' for people these days

I can see how much people make themselves being related too much to their social media

Sharing their thoughts, feeling, photos and being online for hours in front of their monitor,

and share their smiles with just a simple texting of colon ':' and a parenthesis ')' , ':)' (darn! i have shared one for you). You'll never know how bad or good this thing will impact on yourselves.

But, i'm not saying that using social media is a bad thing for people,

as i have accounts on some social media page myself.

And i've realised those factors that sometimes make people addicted to it.

The problem comes when people get so addicted to it.

Posting some kind of (no-funny) jokes (status,tweets); 

'oh God, i'm 4 pounds heavier!' or

'been fihting again with her :('

(do your friends need to know about your 'weigth status' or that you are in a fight with you girlfriend?)

You would find how stupid to write such kind of status,tweets or comment on it(if you're just as silly as them)

No, guys social media ain't created for such kind of joke!

 

We have to know,

not every sentences, quotes, or words is good communication.

We have to understand that GOOD COMMUNICATION is when YOUR IDEA CAN ADD 'THE VALUE' FOR YOU AND OTHER PEOPLE.
